Conventions/DragonCon 2011/Parade
Dragon*Con 2011 Parade
The Dragon*Con Parade has become a grand tradition not only for convention attendees, but for the citizens of Atlanta as well. The Atlanta Police Department shuts down traffic on several city blocks, and participants march along the route in costumes from every type of pop-culture costume you can imagine. The parade opens with a bagpiper in traditional regalia, and closes with a regiment of stormtroopers from Star Wars. This year's guests of honor were Howard Hesseman and Loni Anderson from WKRP in Cincinatti.
